Take the gaps between the Expert times on BC (2.05 secs). Why are the gaps then on RR lower even though the course is longer? (1.6 secs)  ??? What's that all about?  Tongue

1) You spend like 40% of your time on zippers or in the air on Rainbow Road. So the actual racing length isn't that long.

2) BC has much more tricky corners and obstacles than Rainbow Road.

3) It just turned out to be that way if you look at the charts. Look at the rankings. Players with expert times on BC are ranked #31-#97 on that track. On RR they're ranked #32-#102.

Yes, Michael didn't want the gaps to be similar between courses (ie. like Advanced is always a certain percentage of Intermediate, etc) because it would be .. too mechanical.. he wanted to consider course difficulty (ie, how much practice it'll take) and if all of the course was actually being raced).
