The reason they dint make that an option is because then you could just plug in 4 contollers and play GP and let the other 3 controllers lie there. That way you ahve less karts to worry abotu and makes it more easier too.

Also on the first race of a track you start in last place but if u plug in 4 controleers you cna have and advantage byt starting 5th instead of 8th.

I think nintendo should make the next mario kart really hard in GP so the com does mts all the time, seeing that we get through gp easily , nintendo should learn.

I think the game does not have enough memory to handle more than 2 drivers in GP mode. If you notice the difference between GP 1 player and 2 Player, on 2 player they take away more obstacles on some of the boards. I don't really know though, Although i've been high many times and finishing the race 4 times actually sounds like somthing i would do

I've played lots of 2 player gp with buddies that aren't great, but can still get first on their own. And it's definitely easier for me.....the cpu player seem to duke it out with them while I pull ahead even further
