just another thing: i think that if i was in the Christophe's case, i would have ask you 2 or 3 times to be in the rankings, and if you refused i would have tell you that i will take a false identity to "counter" it...   yes, it s not very intelligent but...   it s because none of your actual arguments convinced me that the double ranking could be of some matter to anybody

But yeah again I thought about that and I think it might be good to have player ranked for both version it shouldn't be in any way confusing since you could just seperate the PAL player from NTSC player news if it's not already done. Now about the issue of buying 2 cartridge and those who has more money can play both well that's how it works now it seems. Think about it if someone really want to play both version he can find one and money or not if you make getting a SNES one of your priority you can save money for it and eventually get it.

Now still I don't think it's in any way unfair to anyone that he gets passed by a better player than him. So if he wants to keep his place in both ranking he just need to play hard time on each. Getting to Champ in both would be quite a feat since he's have to battle the 2 champs at the same time.

That's alright for the Non-NBT site. I've sent a private message to Christophe already to let him know he can send his PAL Non-NBT times anytime from now on. Same goes for you and for anyone else who wish to compete on both versions on the Non-NBT site.

Just played some NTSC , the start boost is different timing took me about 10-15 goes to work it out , i got some times of mc1 1'02'4 / 12'34 , gv1 1'08'01 / 13'2 after about 20mins.

Has anyone heard from Christophe about him submitting his PAL times?

I just bought a PAL snes and a PAL smk cartridge a couple days ago on ebay. Should arrive in a couple weeks I guess. If Sami and Simon are still willing to rank 1 player in both versions, then I'll submit times for PAL as well.

I received a private message from Christophe. (who doesn't seem to have internet access where he is at the moment) That was around 2 weeks ago. He told me he was just about to break the 1 minute barrier in GV2, that he had a load of new PR's on other courses and that he had started to play time trial seriously on the other MK's, for all of which, I believe, he is planning to send his PR's. As a final note, he said that he would post his "1000/1000 new PR's" by the time he gets an internet access of his own.

So yeah... Let's just say I'm looking forward to hear more from him, as well...
