I see Moritz on the forums all the time, so he has probably decided to just ignore this topic. Paul has a good point. Moritz probably used all of Tanneys videos and whoever else has made videos to improve his times. Then he starts getting good times and doesnt want to share them. That is just selfish and rude. I don't want to compete with someone who is like that, so until Moritz decides to stop being an ass im just ignoring his position on the charts. In my mind Grard is in first and most deserves first

i read about a glitch on rainbow road that you go onto the outside of the pipe(that shoots you upwards) it was on a website about glitches in games

Usually on Rainbow Road, if you fall off the road circling the tall pipe with the zippers you hit it. But there's one spot where you can go through it. Before you hit the first zipper, get close to the left side of the track and do a power slide off the track. You will go right through the pipe and hit something inside of it.

i dunno if their fakes or not although they probably are

Fernando has a few vids available, you can get them through my Get File option on AIM. Fernando actually provided me with 2 different versions of his time scroll when asked for proof...so coupled with his past reputation, it is completely disrespectful to question him or even whine about his secrecy. In my opinion, it is a privilege when a player choses to share his strategy, not an obligation. Although my personal stance is that it's retarded and even immature to hide strategy, I respect the fact that it's a player's right.

And instead of bitching about him here, why not just email him and ask him what he did or if there's a trick? He will assuredly tell you enough to satisfy your concerns I'm sure, though you probably won't get specifics. His email address is available on the site, as is everyone's.

I think the glitch is just the fact that you can go inside the tube Sad

Cuz i've gone completely inside it a bunch of times, and i still can't get shot out the top or placed very far up.
Oh, and it's easier with toads car.

He's been on these forums multiple times since the thread was started yet he has chosen to ignore it. We're not disputing the fact that he's shared other vids but as geno said, a simple question was asked and he didn't have the courtesy to respond. Whether he chooses to share his strat or not is a completely different matter but not replying to Paul's question is out of order.

Paul didn't ask for videos or even a strat. All he wanted to know was if Moritz is now using a different strat for rainbow road. I think that with all Paul Tanney has done for this community, he at least deserves an answer for this simple question. If Moritz doesn't want to make vids fine, but he could at least answer a question directed at him.

In another topic Penev asked Moritz something about baby park. Of course there was not a single response. Penev made the double dash players page the great site it is today and Moritz won't even answer his question? That is sinking as low as possible in my opinion. These are the reasons (plus many more) why I have decided to ignore the position of moritz on the site. I believe moritz is taking this game too serious and should consult a Psychologist. Wink

But the fact remains: you're not playing well with others Wink

And you can't deny that you being able to see vids of Paul, David, and other ppl while not sharing any of your strats gives you an advantage.
