A lot of good videos are there (not all of them are WRs, or even still the fastest available videos, but they should give you an idea of how to race each track)

Also, to answer your other question, which lap you use your mushrooms on PB will probably not matter for you just yet. Once you get into the low 1'08-high 1'07 range, then people tend to use their shrooms on lap 3 to give them a better line through the water, but where you're at right now it shouldn't really matter.

Your MTs do seem quite fast, which is a good thing, but like the others said, you have to let them work! Watching videos should also help you get a feel for the timing of how MTs should be charged and released. Keep it up!

So I was tinkering with A-Teching properly with more delay between the MTs, but I'm having trouble driving in a straight line without using an earlier drift to straighten myself. For a left-inward drift, my inputs are left-neutral-left-neutral-release A/R/hold right-press A/R/neutral-right-neutral-right, and repeat. How should I be using my controller stick to put more delay between my MTs while keeping a straight path? Also, when should I be releasing A and pressing it again, compared to R? As I'm still learning, I usually just release and press A and R simultaneously, but I'm sure this is not optimal.

Nice flap Icy! I think it would be even better if you deploy your shrooms a bit later. Now you're deploying your shroom while you are doing your last mt but i think it would be even better if you'd deploy the shroom after your last mt. You're doing really well for someone who has just started tt'ing and i'm quiet jealous about your a-tech skills haha. I'll be posting some videos in future as well, but i first need to get a proper capture ca Undecided
