Didn't play any console games in the past month or so. Beside Multi and shit.

Too bad for the pal n64, anyway its not really worth it. It's like playing in slow motion.

And everybody Instant Message "Im Ngamer" voting for me!

I doubt the game itself runs slower. PAL PD gives the oppurtunity to use a glitch in Deep Sea... only an advantage and shit.

Chodhe is Claude Boucher.

He's already living in Quebec so it wont be hard for him to go.

Zell is JS something...cant remember his family name, he was with Louis and Simon when they met up last year.

Okay so while speaking with Nicholas I thought about who brings what?

Cause I don't intend to buya SNES a Cube and all kind of games for those Smiley

SO we'd need:

SNES (Sim maybe?)
SMK Cart
2 Controllers

everyone could come with their N64 controller since I have 5 but none of those are really good and people usually are used to their joystick wornness  Cheesy

Cube I don't have it either but Nich does and he has 2 controllers DD too but maybe someone closer might bring it or at least some controller or the game?

So that's all!

Ok, I can bring a SNES, my SMK cart and 2 SNES controllers as well. The controllers aren't Nintendo official brand, but they are almost identical, if not completely identical in fact...

As for the Game Cube, I could bring mine + MKDD + 2 controllers if needed, but I guess my brother will be willing to play some while I'm gone, so maybe it would be better if someone else could bring his, if possible...

Is there anything else we'd like to bring during the meeting? Not necessarily MK-related I mean here, but anything that could play a useful or entertaining role during the meeting...

Okay so the SNES case is finished.

For Cube Nicholas can bring it with MK and 2 controllers if you could bring one we'd only need one more to have 4.

So does anyone else have a controller that they could bring?

Yeah, as Pier-Yves said, I can take care of bringing my NGC console along with 2 controllers and MKDD, I don't mind, it'll survive the trip Wink

I just made a couple of acquisitions today, 2 N64 controllers (finally some that'll work! Grin) and 3 games, so I can bring one or two controllers for N64 if needed along with the cube and all...

Ah! great some working controllers!  Grin

okay so we have the N64 the Snes and the Cube and MK on all of those we only need a controller ofr Cube if we plan on playing 4 players game?

I think we might play more of SMK and MK64 then DD since Nicholas is the only DD player that is playing the game "often"  (I think). But we could still play some so he can own us in his own game  Cheesy

We haven't done tournament finally.

We're only playing the games (SMK MK64 and MKDD along with a few other from time to time). So I saw some interesting race between Martin, Simon and Louis-Philippe. They also played battle which once ended up in the tie breaker at 12-12 that's when Simon won it against Martin 13 to 12.

Then I saw a live spiral hit fo MK64 from Louis in like 10 minutes worth of tries  Grin.

For the VS on SMK in can go Louis-Martin Simon and sometimes Nicholas win some race too but I'M never even close  Tongue. For MK64 I won 8 race for some reason that I don't know  Smiley. And DD was a race between Simon and Nicholas and Nicholas ended first more often then there was the race for 3rd between the other player  Undecided.

Hey Pier-Yves, going on the computer while we're still asleep?  Wink

Anyway, I'll continue with some activity from today afternoon, after Pier-Yves posted that message.

We spent the first half of the afternoon playing some MKDD, in battle, versus, and GP co-op mode, and always 4-players, with Pier-Yves, Nicholas, Louis and myself. At one point, we went in the options mode so that the VS races have no more than 1 lap, and we did some Baby Park around 20-25 times that way; That was some real fun!  Smiley In GP co-op mode, it took us 1 whole race to realize that Pier-Yves was in fact with Louis and that I was with Nicolas, and 1-2 more races to realize that both players had to steer the joystick back and forth to create MT's.

After we were done with MKDD, we did some 1-try attempts in SMK and MK64 time trial. A few of the highlights in SMK were Louis winning MC1 with 1'01"3x, myself winning DP1, GV1 and BC1 with respectively a high 1'18, a 1'08 and like 1'32"69. (with Louis being no more than 0"15 behind, still!) Nicholas won the MC2 one with 1'23! Louis and I had tried the double jump there, but we both messed it up.  Smiley Louis was the fastest in GV2 with a low 1'04 and I won BC2 with a low 1'44. (which I must admit surprised me!) In Star Cup, I won KB1 with 54"08, I think. Then, in MC4, Louis finished with 1'40"49 doing NBT's all over the place (well, 2 per lap Smiley), so my goal was to beat that without NBT, and I did a 1'39"50 after all. Lastly, Louis finished the SMK tourney with RR the way he began it with MC1, with a 1st ranked time of 1'39 I think. Oh, and I almost forgot the main achievement here: Pier-Yves managed to complete all the courses prior to BC2 in less than 2 minutes!

In MK64, I could only play 3 courses before I left , so I better just list the -approximate- complete results at these 3. Maybe if Pier-Yves, Nicholas or Louis want to post a message, I'd be curious to know how the tourney in the MK64 half ended up...

Luigi Raceway:
1st: 1'42 (Myself)
2nd: 1'43(?) (Louis)
3rd: 1'47"7x (Pier-Yves)
4th: 1'48"00 (Nicholas)

Koopa Troopa Beach:
1st: 1'23 (Myself)
2nd: 1'31 (Nicholas)
3rd: Mid 1'30's (Louis)
4th: Mid 1'30's higher than Louis' (Pier-Yves)

Kalimari Desert:

?: 2'00"8x I think (Pier-Yves)
?: 1'50 or 1'51 (Myself)

I don't know about Louis and Nicholas times there. I left just after I got mine.

Oh, and if that interests anyone, Martin and I played some MC4 time trial on Saturday night. I'm not sure how long we played exactly, maybe 20 minutes, maybe 45, but at the end, we both got extremely close to our Non-NBT lap PR's with 19"45 for Martin, and 19"34 for me.

After Kalimari Desert (finished 3rd by the way, thanks to PY's train hitting Roll Eyes), well.. let's just say I wasn't as lucky as the other races before that Roll Eyes Tongue

Basically, I don't remember most of the times (don't have access to a N64, the times are on my cart after all Roll Eyes), but I do know that Louis and Pier-Yves were rather close (WS finish was a gap of 0'50 between the two Grin) and I was a good 5-15 seconds behind Tongue

Oh... and I laugh at myself for saying that I had a chance for winning BC and ending up with a 2'21 Wink

After KD we did TT BC CM MR and then it ended with WS. (I think at least :p)

KD: Sim, Louis, Nich and me (I have to say for my defence that I didn,t remembered if I was using 2-1-0 to beat the trains and it seems yes  Roll Eyes

TT: I should have won easily but I crashed in a bus on the last turn at the end and finished just behind Louis Sad

BC: Louis Me and Nich again but that was I think 0"19 away between me and Nich (2'21"60 to "79 for Nich)

CM: I don't even remember I guess Louis, me and Nich

MR: Louis me and Nick I tried the "SC" behind the giant mushroom on last lap but missed it

WS: I won that one with a weird 1st lap that was 0"01 faster than 2nd lap and a 3rd lap like 0"70 better then first then thing is that I did 3-0-0.

Then Louis and Nich played some GE.

I went on the comp when I woke up after your battle tounament and not during the night :p but yes you were all still asleep. (That's when I looked at the SMK standard to figure that I should try MC1 to see how slow I could be ended with a 1'06)

And to add to your comment I have to say I almost got 3rd place on Koopa 1 where I had 1'14 and Nich 1'13 (mainly because you played that one and then showed us a tape of a time) but well other then that I had some slow driving allover the place and yeah I was aiming for sub 2 minutes Smiley. I tryed the "sc" ni MC4 (after the zip jump when you aim toward the other jump thing then get you to finish line) I think I got it once  Tongue. I also remember that I did RRo without using the slide or hop because I can't seem to control the kart at all and well there's no rail in RRo  Wink

I'd have liked to do some SC playing against Louis on some track but well.

A good point is that now I can put some face on the people I'm chatting with on AIM. I figured everyone since Nich I knew he was coming earlier then Louis I saw his picture due to his FS sc 3lap WR and well Simon since he just arrived last and it was the only one left  Cheesy

I found that meeting to be of great fun even if my parents didn't liked the idea at all after all  Roll Eyes too bad Bernier couldn't get the car to come  Angry

Edit: Oh and btw I won once for Baby Park 1 lap thing so I was satisfied  Wink.

Also Simon is holding the controller for N64 in a weird way so you all know now  Wink

Hope to do that again. And Bernier said he'd like that to happen again and soon  Smiley
