Quote:humm 3 days? If everyone can come by friday I'll take a day off otherwise I think they could arrive late (I'm at home at about 9:15 to 9:30 pm after work )
Ah ok. In that case, I'm sure people can plan their schedule so they arrive later in the night or just on Saturday morning. Or, maybe, and that's really just a possibility that still has a very uncertain chance of happening, but maybe I could manage to invite people at my dad's home (where I will be by that date) for the first night. If we do that and my father agrees, then we could manage to have the whole basement free for a part of the afternoon/night or the whole night if needed. I'd have to talk about it with my father first obviously, but that's still a possible alternative if Friday night is causing problems.
For the path to your home, chances are that everyone will need one anyway. I must admit myself that I don't know much about the South bank (rive-sud) of Québec City, except maybe for the "20" highway being the main road for people who will be coming from the West, but you probably don't live directly next to the highway.

And by the way, I should have no problems getting in contact with Jean-Sébastien and Martin, as I see them online quite regularly on AIM and MSN. So, once things start getting decided, I can tell them about it.
Quote:Other than sitting in front of a T.V? what ? Yeha I have a comp . okay well I don't really know what we might do since not everybody will have a bike I guess and other than that I don't do much than working . I do have a few board games or cards or whatever if that can interest some people
Sure, we'll play some Scrabble in French against Chris!

No, seriously, I also tend to spend my days way too much in front of a TV or of a computer, and finding good ideas of how we could spend a MK meeting doing other things could be hard, but 3 days straight in front of a TV is long honestly, so I think it would be worth to think about it a little. These can be very simple things. I'm someone who's generally not too excited about doing these things that most people around me really enjoy doing, but on the other hand, I can have fun with very little. Besides, any activity done with people that I've known for 2-3 years through the internet but that I'm meeting for the 1st time in real life is meant to be fun whatsoever.

While the scrabble thing was a bit of a joke, I do enjoy playing some board games occasionally, just as long as it doesn't have fucked up rules. In fact, I do know of one MK-related game that Jamie and I were playing when we were really bored.

(I was generally the one who insisted to play it)
And lastly, while having the meeting held around Québec City unfortunately increases the length problem for most players, I must admit you may be right when you say this would be our last alternative if we want that meeting to occur. Still, we must remain open to any eventual better solution if one arises, because the more players can come, the better it is. In a perfect world, all PAL and NTSC players from all countries would meet at the same place at the same time and... and... hum... yes, they would!
