Understanding value of time. (Read 130 times)

junamiaz n00b Offline I love YaBB 1G - SP1! 7614 days karting	Understanding value of time. 03/10/04 at 08:17:30 I have a flap time of 12:15 track time of 1.01.74 on MC1. I did this on a pal system and tv using a us version of the game via a converter about 11 yrs ago. Do I compare my times against Pal, Ntsc or somewhere in between.

The version of the game is what counts The flap of 12"15 would be pretty much impossible with normal driving on PAL, I think only Sami has got a lap faster than that.

Boosting is a technique that consists into jumping into a long powerslide, holding the R button down, long enough so that when you release the R button, the engine's sound seems to go a bit louder for 2 seconds or so. It is used by higher ranked players mainly, and even then, its heavy use isn't unconditional to high ranked times, really.

Anyway, I think the NTSC/PAL technicality Karel stated was right, so in that case, your times would belong into the NTSC top times section.

Probably moves me down list further. However, i bet when I did this in 1993 it was much higher ! PS: I kind of played it to death for about a week at that time.
