Yes I suggested the same to Sami, when he asked me to contact the master guy, cause I suppose Mikan is better in English, no?

But according to Sami, he is a busy person...either that or reluctant to co-operate. He tried to email Mikan about this before, but got no reply.

Maybe you can try to convince him, knowing the content, structure of his site etc.? E-mailing is your personal hobby after all! Grin

Ok, I just sent a rather long message to Mitsuyan. I've been focusing more on trying to get our communities closer to each other than trying to convince them to send their times to the SMK players' site really, because I think it is much more important for now at least to create a contact. (and I suggested that they give a look at this Message Board)

Also Sami, I was suggesting something to Mitsuyan that would probably a simple but good idea. I was thinking you could put the link to their site (the main page, URLed "index") on the SMK players' site main page's menu for the next update, and so they could the same for the SMK players' site on their main page.

Tomorrow, I'll be going to my dad's and I won't be back before Sunday, so even if he has replied by then, I won't be able to give details about his reply before Sunday, but either way Sami, I definitely think that we should put the link to their site for this update if possible.

Hi,

I previously had Mitusya's email address and URL on his profile, but he asked me to remove them because he started getting junk mail and stuff. I guess the URL wouldnt matter, but better ask him first. You asked him already about exchanging URLs on the main page i take it?

We'll see what he says and well take it from there.

Also well wait to hear again from the 'MASTER' guy with that MK64 site. Hopefully hell send all his SMK times and maybe help recruit some karters.

Not only that. The person who did the 55"95 on MC1 also got a 10"99 on Lap 5. That's nuts.

Also, the 16"89 on Rainbow Road was done on Lap 1. That's overkill.

Simon I think we should also reconsider non nbt rules after seeing this.
They show it's obvious you can gain time with NBT's that are not off-road, and don't require long, sharpcurves cause they are acquired with zig zagging on straights (ala MT'ing in mkdd almost)...

Or did you already state in the rules any zig zagging NBT use will automatically qualify as NBT time?

I realised new thoughts immediately after posting the previosu response, and tbh. I am a bit excited about it all.
After all this could give SMK Time Trialing a new direction, not necessarily a good/welcome one tho Undecided

As far as I can see the SSMT's (i guess you can compare what they did on RR with those) are overkill in SMK.
