cesar has a 1:16.9 on french site, and its better than then nubous time, and cesar uses them around last corner so must be good spot

Oh, I did not see Cesar's updated time, which is about 0'2s faster I think... so I guess the last corner would be a good pick Tongue

I think reaching 1'47'--- on YC will be the one I remember... I went through 2 weeks to get past.. I'd screw up every time on the last lap after some amazing splits, and end up with a crappy time... w00t Tongue

For 3 lap, if you can, take the SC without a shroom on the first lap, but for each of the next two laps, you still have to shroom, because it still is the fastest spot.

I've gone back to MK64, but there's one barrier here on DD  that I won't easily forget. That's Peach Beach 1'12 - because I never broke through it.  And I tried!
Well, my time will probably stand at 1'12"087 for all eternity, and I can live with that. (As long as Scott doesn't break it, of course Wink. I've got to check that.)

it's really annoying when you work on a barrier for days, then suddenly break it by a second!

I wanted to break 37''00 on DK Mountain flat lap.  I only tried for a few minutes and I beat my old best by nearly a second when I got a 36'362.  And I'm still using the parade kart on that course.

Yeah, my name is Matt Flees.  My times should be up next update.  I don't know why but for DKM I just use the parade Kart.  I have an interesting strategy where I run into the fence before the gap jump (not the fence at it but before it), and it turns me in a nice angle to get through.  On my best lap I used both shrooms at the very end and I didn't have a very fast gap jump like I usually do, so I assume I can get down to  36"000 even with the parade kart.  I'll probably make a vid of this soon along with more of my newer PR's.

A new barrier for me getting LC-1.17.9 i took about 2hrs to get from 1.18.217 to 1.18.024 so i had to keep playing since i was that close, but i didnt know it would take another 3 hours. TongueSo i was relieved i finally got it,and that was the hardest time for me to get up to date yet.

Well my DD!! career is still a few days shy of four weeks long, but so far my most memorable barrier was 3:10 on Rainbow Road, and I'm actually disappointed in how I broke it.  I was about 1.1 seconds ahead of my ghost after two laps but ended up beating it by only 0.1 seconds for a time of 3:09:923.  I couldn't enjoy finally breaking that barrier too much because I choked away a seconds worth of a lead in the final lap, and my ghosts final lap wasn't exactly one of my best to begin with.  At least it shows I still have a lot of room to improve...
