Erasing SMK game saves

I've recently bought a 2nd hand PAL copy of SMK from ebay but I want to erase all the times they got on TT and be able to unlock 150cc for myself again. So please could someone tell me how you erase all the save data from the cart. Thank you very much

there probably is a standard way via some option using the select button somewhere, but otherwise, while th cart is in the machine, try turning it on and off like 20 times really quickly and it'll wipe it!
