Thanks to Chris, Jamie and Martin, here. The crazy playing session we had yesterday night was all I need to get back into some SMK racing again!

Splits: 12"43-12"17-12"15-12"17-12"15
That's crazy... I did this before I actually saw that Chris had gotten a 1'01"08! His laps however are just insane... 12"07, 12"12 and 12"11 in the same race?! Awesome job, there. That would be by far beyond my hopes.

(very best I got these last 2 days is 12"10)
The very end of 3rd lap and beginning of 4th lap in my 5-lap was really really really tight, so I got nervous around the end of 4th lap and screwed it up a little. I guess otherwise, it could have been around ~12"10 or so. Other 5-laps I got tonight were 1'01"10, 1'01"13, 1'01"15 and 1'01"25. 1'00's would be possible, but very hard. I believe Jamie, Chris, Martin, Stanley, and pretty much anyone in NTSC but me uses a boost on the 1st corner. I have never really tested it out seriously myself, but I don't feel like it would fit in naturally by that curve, so no matter if that boost really appears to be faster or not when well executed, I'm pretty sure I'll keep playing without it.
