I never showed the video, so here it is. I'm sure the world was waiting for it so bad.

GV3 (PAL) - 1'22"36* (no-PJ category)

And yeah, it's NBT, but no one ever claimed to perform something better so STFU. Smiley

This topic shouldn't be dead, so let's start the activity here with my times! I know I have GV3 times but they're awful and I don't want to try to find them.

I'm taking Fenner off the charts, if anyone (Mario? Roll Eyes) disagrees with this than we could maybe reinstate his times. He only had times for GV1 btw.

Because GV1 and GV2 PJs are annoying Smiley Example: last night I played GV1 for two hours, and literally made 15 or 16 2/5s and failed the third jump Angry Yes, I was counting. 15+ failed 3/5s and would-be PRs, and a grand total of 0 3/5s.

And keeping with the thread topic, I also drove a 13.24 non-PJ opener last night Shocked Tied my 5lap PR too, 13.29/17/08/16/18.

The feeling of being a world champion is intoxicating, and I didn't want to ever not be the world champion again. Then I realized it didn't matter that much since I had nothing more to prove and achieved my most important goal(s).

How much do the platform jumps actually save?

Look at these records here and the WR times

It looks like: GV1: 1"00
                  GV2: 0"30
                  GV3: 1"50

per lap.

Is this about right?

Dunno about GV3, I haven't tried a serious no-PJ run there. But on GV2 you save more like 0"40, depending on how good your execution is. The same can really be said about GV3's jump since it isn't done straight-on either.

Thanks for the new state record, Leyla  Grin

NTSC, GV2 F-lap:

19. 12"35 - Emeric Gosselin
21. 12"37 - Eric Balch
22. 12"88 - Adam Leibach

A low 12"1x (PJ-less Hero!) looks doable for me now, doubtful about a 12"0x though, but I'm tired of crashing.  Smiley

I almost got it in the 5lap too but started going too wide in the last lap. Did get at least one 1'01"xx run from this however.

Didn't feel like wasting my time tonight, so played no-PJ instead. I had a lot of good fails, but this run might have been better than all of them Cool
