Hi, some of you might know me from PD (#2) and GE (#3), but, I don't have much free time b/c I'm an intern and I play counter-strike professionally, but I'd like to join the MK64 players page, get some elite-king-legend times, and see where it goes from there. I'm a newb to this page, and if it's easier, just direct me to where I can find out about registering and such. Sorry for the rediculous n00b post, but I'd also like to say hi, and I'm looking forward to pwning you guys on the track Wink

Well, I know when the MK64 board first showed up on the PDE boards you were posting in there asking about strats and such... you haven't been whoarding all this time have you? Wink

no but seriously... welcome and I'm sure we'll all expect to see great things from someone with a resume like yours... just don't be like Gorman and quit after two weeks when you realize it starts getting tougher to PR Wink

oh and sooner or later you'll realize that NTSC is at a disadvantage and that PAL players will pwn you without even blinking... hehe

Hey guys, impressive message board. I'm new to this message board, and it seems you guys have did a good job with this.

I think I have a decent time at a course in the game, but I was wondering what you guys all thought first. The time is Donkey Kong Jungle Parkway 1:54:24. I didn't hop the fence or do any shortcuts? Is that time good? Let me know.

Well at this point it's obviously very hard to believe your time. If it was definitely true, 1:54.24 is very fast for NTSC (and impossible for PAL). It's essentially impossible for any player who's not involved with the site to go 1:54.24 before joining, even with the spiral ramp jump. So either you're someone making a joke, a liar, or excruciatingly fast. Shocked

Sorry bout that typo... I typed it incorrectly in my yahoogroups email as well... lol...

Let's see: the correct splits are 37:93, 37:76, and 38:33.. sorry bout the confusion...

Thanks Marcelo....now I'm scared...once you see my vids, you'll go kill my times... lol....btw, congrats on YOUR WR's.... BB 1:44:88!!!! (unimaginable for me to get, as I have never hit below 35:25 1s before)

Time to go for another NTSC WR tomorrow..
