do you use shrooms and get 3 stars?

Is there a pic of the start screen when you reach 3 stars in all cups? I and one other guy are interested in this If not, could Pierre or Archi take one? I know they have 3 stars in all cups.

i thought it was 15/15 normal tracks.

I've been playing through trying to get ***'s and just wanted to make some comments after reading through this thread:

1. I honestly don't think consistency matters, I think it's how far you are ahead of the competion, period.  A great example of this is the *** I just got on 150 cc Special Cup.  My RRd laps were ~25,40,30 and I still came out with the ***... I used items as much as I could and used the break whenver I felt like it (which was a fair amount on Lakeside and Broken Pier).

2. I got *** on Lightning Cup 150cc first try... and I fell off the course once or twice.

I want to see that *** algorithm!

By the way, Normal Cups aren't so hard. I'm looking forward your results in Extra Cups, cos if you drove for having new screen, I don't think you already have *** at all Cups, do you ?

I think the most important strategy (especially about Extra Lightning 150cc, the most difficult Cup ever to reach ***) is to finish the race with a solid lead over the 2nd ! It doesn't matter if you use some items, or if a red shell hit you, if you can finish the race with a solid time ! I also pretty sure you have to forbidden using brakes, to have a better chance to reach *** !

So, if you want to continue, and trying to reach all ***, it would be interesting, and I'll wait your results.

I reached a *** at Extra-Lightning 150 with less than 100 coins (96) !!!

BC2 1'30"90 - 23 coins (any options)
MC3 1'20"98 - 24 coins (a shroom at 3rd lap, some mistakes at 4th and 5th laps )
KB1 0'50"08 - 29 coins (all laps between 9"80 and 10"5x)
CI2 0'59"86 - 20 coins (amazing time, and without options )

When I'll admit the english word for "option" is "item" !

I think I'll do a vid for a *** tomorrow !

OK, I finally did a vid of a *** at Extra-Lightning 150 (at my 1st try ^^) ! I hope I'll be able to put it on the Net next week.

With the camrecorder, it wasn't possible to do vids of more than 3 minutes, so I did a stop after each race. And if the quality is appreciable, it's not possible to read time, number of coins, ... just guess I did *** !

hey, there is an emulator that lets you play multiplayer on your computer.  i tried playing with netplay, but i think there's going to be lag.  also, there's a glitch on some systems, and i couldn't figure out how to get around it.

I just watched the Vid, KartSeve!  Excellent job!  Too bad you don't have a GBA player... it was a bit blurry.  Still, I appreciate and enjoyed the vid!

That's def one of the boosts I don't go for...

*edit*  Nevermind, it's pretty easy to do; I do a little different angle than in that gp vid though.  I go into the sand earlier and come out sooner.  Best 1-shroomer is 15"40 now, is that any good  ???

*edit* best 1-shroomer now 15"34, got a PR race off of it with 1'19"5X, went on the sand on lap 4   potential for 1'18"XX
