As you can see from the splits, this run was shit. I'm using Su's river strat atm because it's so much easier for setting up the waterslide. I might try to beat the Non-ZZMT WR when I'm back in the US. Best splits (with Su's river strat) are 19"83/"66/"66 = 59"15. 3lap is Top 10 #7 (since SG flap got bumped down to #11).

I've switched to "cutting AF" mode currently since I can't/don't want to invest as much time in individual tracks while on vacation. I started working on some tracks with bad ranks but quckly realized I could/should improve my Mushroom Cup as a whole.  

Hopefully I can reach the Top 20 before you reach the Top 10.  

I have to compensate for all the other MKs where I don't have wins on you.

I feel like I suck at this track, I don't particularly enjoy tracks with MTs charged this way. I'm curious as to how I'm slower than Su by half a second per lap (is there a vid?). I'm also surprised I'm only "12 away from the flap Non-ZZMT WR, although I suspect it's much harder to beat than it looks (another one to give a go once I get back). Both times are wins on Nosey (I originally tied him on the 3lap, which was absolutely unacceptable).

Don't try to hit the 2nd zipper the way that Andy and Seb do it; it's way harder than Su's way and saves maybe 1 frame if done right.

Start a right-facing drift right before you hit the 1st zipper, then hop again after you hit it. You'll hit the 2nd zipper almost every time this way.

Changed my shroomspot to the optimal one and managed this, good to beat one of my older times (4 years+) even if it doesn't do much AF/standard wise. Will try to improve this one as I'm just outside the top 10

This track is pretty weird, and it's so easy to lose time. 3lap is fairly decent, win on Nosey and Daniel, Titan #26. Best splits are 16"56/"36/"36 = 49"28. Flap is a bit of a fluke, got it early on and haven't gotten very close since. It's a shame that Nosey and Daniel are just ahead of me, but I'm not gonna continue. I don't think it deserves to be one, but it's Myth #6.

Out of curiosity, now that I've gotten all my Mushroom/Flower Cup PRs "up to date", I checked what my AF is for those two cups: 19, compared to 21.0125 for Nosey and 16.9375 for Daniel (ZZMT much?  ). Pretty happy with that considering those cups have some very ZZMT-friendly tracks as well as some overplayed ones.

It was great to see your Yahoo Groups message, I'm glad you're still interested in MKSC! You've got a lot of catching up to do.

I wasn't going to post until I had reached all/most of my first two cup targets, but I can't resist.

Very frustrated at BC2, my target was to beat guillaume's 1'02"76 which I had the splits to do easily, but my failing hands and concentration meant I couldn't get the consistency. The flap is just plain annoying, I have no idea how I lose so much time.

Can't remember the splits, but lap 3 was really bad, would have liked to have gotten the sub but didn't have time. Best splits are 22"75/"65/"65 = 1'08"05. Flap should go down more as well, but I'm bad at this track so this is fine for now I guess. 3lap just beats out Nosey, which is nice.   Flap is also a win on Nosey, and Titan #28.

Sunset Wilds:
1'05"78 #24 (HC) -> 1'03"26 #10 (TC)
20"05 #26 (TD) -> 18"58 #8 (MA)
I forget the splits (have ghost though) but I think lap 3 was 21"12 or something. I can easily sub, so I'd like to go for #7 on the 3lap, as the next 3 people are in the 1'02"8x-"9x range. Best splits are 20"83/"80/"80 = 1'02"43. As for the flap, shame I won't be able to tape it, I had no idea it was so well ranked. I'll go for God anyways, so hopefully that'll happen and I can provide a vid. The only thing I really don't get with this track is how you're supposed to cut the wall at the first set of zippers, I can't even go far enough to cut the right-most part of it, I always end up going OoB if I try. 3lap is a win on Nosey and Daniel, Titan #29 (well, really #28 since I set it before the LC flap). Flap is also a win on Nosey and Daniel, Myth #7. Both times are Top 10s #8 and #9.

.9375 AF cut, should get me past #24 Sebastien Holmiere. I should also get promoted to Hero B.
