A ZZMT could save some good time right after the lava gaps by cutting across the shallow lava on the left side of the road (which could probably also be jumped over if you're extremely precise-- I've never been able to do it that way).

Of course I'm a noob there, but I played a bit of BC1 on Saturday to improve my old PR and got a 44"60 I'm rather proud of at the moment. I can understand that 43"xx PRs are possible but 42"xx, wow...

Fenner's coming back will push me out of the top 25, and, well, I can't allow that.

So I picked up my gba and gave a try to SGB with zzmt. After one hour of play, I still couldn't get a lap below 17'6...

So I stopped trying to zzmt, and after 10 minutes I got 50'56. Splits: 16'93 16'40 17'23 , first PR in two years Grin

Obviously going for lower. Still, it really pisses me off not being able to zzmt better. I didn't even manage to get one clean mt over the grass Angry

That should be enough to pass Cole. I could probably gain another 0'50, but I'd rather learn zzmt...

I think I found why I have so much trouble with zzmt. When I simply alternate right and left, the mts don't register. But when I press the center of the cross, and simultaneously press left and right, it works. Is it normal, or does it mean that my gba isn't modded enough?

I play non-ZZMT of course, my personal best opener is a 14"4x I really feel unable to improve, and I've performed a few 14"3x middle laps. I just need consistency to get a lower 43" PR now...

I did it once only, I started it over so many times that I made my own idea of a personal perfect path for my level. Generally I drive something more in the 14"6x, I got a few 14"5x but that 14"4x was just perfect from my newbie point of view.

Impressive time! Still, the non-zzmt record is 42'80 by Seb, so you'll need more than .04 to take it.

You don't have to be surprised by your times Mario, because smk skills transfer very well to mksc. Strong smk karters are usually able to reach near wr times with little efforts on the basic tracks.

Could anyone answer my zzmt question? I need to know if I have to open my gba again...

43"78 now and the most important, an epic 12"88 flap which earns me my first Titan PR on the MKSC page.

I won't try to improve that flap before a while, but I'm not done yet with the 3-lap, I need a 43"5x or better to stop playing this track.
