Hey, so Logan Sacrey has recently been rocketing through the ranks, he has screenshots of times but no videos. I'm not sure if cheating is going on, but I would be happy if moving forward he could provide some videos, I talked a bit about this just with friends, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has thoughts on this [smiley=beer.gif]

Actually I just had another idea, do you have any ghosts you could share? Since you're on homebrewed wii currently it shouldn't be too hard to download the memcard manager, and I think that's an easier temporary solution if you're down

I have to say that WS in your stream today was very incriminating.. looked like the gameplay was titan level at best, including many mistakes that could only be explained by a lack of knowledge which is pretty much required for a 1'36

Just because I “pissed you off” or whatever doesn’t mean you have to get your panties in a knot over me. Like I said, moving forward I’ll have videos for my future times since I know now people want to see me play and I know you’re getting jealous. I know you don’t like me now and honestly you handled cutting me off in a shit way. I’ll do what I said before so you can shut up.

Very bold of you to still post these times, assuming they're legit and you've really scored them before the promise, do you REALLY think it's a good idea to still post them? Y'know, considering everyone sees you as a big sussy baka rn, people who believe you're cheating would just assume you're trying to squeeze in a couple more times while you can't get them legit, less so on camera.

I see your point Logan, and honestly I have to agree that you're right, recently I've probably pushed it a bit too far. The fact is, over the months you've been doing stuff that pisses me off, you don't mean to so I address it to you, and you apologize and promise to move forward, yet you immediately continue to do the same things, and I get even more pissed off. This is why I had to cut you off, and surely a big part of why you were banned from the MKDD server, you have a way of pushing my buttons. So there's my side of the story, but now for yours.

I can imagine you're in a pretty bad place since I cut you off and you were banned from the MKDD server, and you're trying desperately to get something back, and then I start this thread casting suspicion over your timesheet, now you need to at least keep your MKDD dignity. Unfortunately everything you've shown us seems to point to your times being illegitimate, there's already been a freeze request sent by the mods to Alex, and as you can see Max (mod of MKDS) is also on the freeze train, and I'm sure SMK, MK64, and MKSC will be soon to follow.

The fact of the matter is, your times *are* going to be frozen, and likely removed as well later on. There's nothing you can do to win back your dignity from cheating, honestly the best thing you can do is to come clean. Personally I've spent a lot of time and stress worrying about this, and I just want it to be over, so honestly I really would appreciate it (and I'm sure others would as well) if you would just stop wasting our time, and let us all have some peace.

I would really respect that

I never liked uploading videos since I know people would judge my driving etc. I just wanted to play the game for enjoyment and didn’t want to deal with people essentially nit picking my runs. It’s very demotivating, and after having it happen in the past I decided I wanted to play more privately. But now I know that isn’t acceptable for where I am. I’ll record any times I get in the future. Ever since February I’ve been playing this game for all the wrong reasons. Not enjoying it and just wanting to reach goals in spite of certain people. I made a lot of friends over the past year playing and most have left me. I regret a lot of things I’ve done. I wish you the best of luck in the future

I want to re-instantiate Robert's request to remove the "MKDD Canadian Champion" from your description as I believe it's insulting to anyone in Canada legitimately playing the game and perhaps to anyone in the world, flaunting a title that has never belonged to you like you have something on them.

Alright, there are a few reasons why I decided to do what I did. First being that i thought being good at the game made you a better person. Which is completely wrong. First of all, I agree that Logan did the wrong thing. The community has the right 2 b angry and remove his times.

I don't know u at all Logan, while I don't trust u after this, plus we've barely chatted in the forums, just want 2 thank u 4 admitting and owning up 2 your mistake. Pretty quickly after being accused of cheating. I mean u owned up and took responsibility 4 your wrong fairly quickly no, actually very quickly incomparison 2 other cheaters who NEVER admit fault.

U seem like a nice person who did the wrong thing. While I think your times NEED 2 b removed, I think u owe yourself forgiveness 4 coming clean quickly after being caught:) u don't seem like a bad person, just someone who suffers from poor self esteem.

Again, I hear multiple competitors in these gaming communities cheat who never come clean. I won't mention names.

As long as u learn from this moving on in life, I think u r a good person:) u seem kind, I mean all my words and wish u well:)

Thank you for the kind words Stephen. I know now why I did what I did and what I need to change going forward. It’s definitely better for me to learn the hard way. I’m still young and have a lot of road ahead of me, which will be a good road from now on.

not going to pretend like I know MKDD at all, but cheating gets you nowhere and this is proof of that. Just gotta be honest with people Logan. I’m glad you admitted to it, but going behind everyone’s backs for months (or however long it was) goes against everything the players page stands for. It will probably take years to earn peoples trust back, if ever.

People have lost their titles, records, ranks, and their trust. The leaderboards have been inaccurate for a long time now because of this. It's fucking disgusting and pathetic.
I want to specify that doing this isn't just because of community pressure, because the community doesn't shame you for slowing down the higher ranking you get, nor does it shame you regardless for not getting PRs. To continuously cheat is a terribly selfish move and it's a straight up insult to the community, and your own skillset and beliefs.
Cheaters always will have their reasons, but it also always comes down to thinking more about themselves than anything or anyone else, even their closest friends.

As to Logan: Thank you for admitting it, though it did take until you got pressured all the way for you to do so. God knows how many times you've said you "understand" or "will change" only for the opposite to happen. You've heavily disappointed and even enraged many with your cheating, rather than just playing the game like everyone else does and should. I'm not familiar with the rulings, but other Players Pages have all the right to refuse service to a cheater and remove your times there as well (as they should).

I like to think that this is such a grave mistake that you can't help but change, and as I've also said to you before, you're still young and got time to change. But fucking do it and don't ever cheat again, for the sake of communities, but also yourself. It's better to learn it like this as you've said before, the hard way.

I agree with you Mike. I got caught up and did the wrong thing. Then instead of admitting when I started or just beat the times legit and then quit. I kept the train going because I didn’t think I’d get caught. If I had been somewhat wiser I would’ve gotten away with it too. So I hope you can use my situation to better equip for any future issues such as this. You obviously know what to look for now so keep it up. I want to say a final good luck to all of you.

I should’ve written the last statement more carefully. I was at work and busy, but I’m home now. My reason for saying that was just to signify to the community that it is definitely possible there are people slipping through the cracks. I already know my punishments and everything. I want my situation to be used as a learning tool. I hope the community can detect any others who have the same bad intentions that I had.

This is an active community and it's standard for top players to have videos, even if just a few. I really don't know why you're presenting yourself as some kind of martyr when you just got caught cheating. The only thing you did was show at least some respect for the community by admitting although already pushed into a corner far enough. The fact that there was this kind of suspicion going on would've put you in a horrible spot if you didn't, and it's not like we wouldn't have been able to figure out that you'd desperately be trying to get better to catch up to your supposed new level.

Your situation isn't a learning tool or moment for the community to detect cheaters, as we already used the same knowledge we had to pressure you. The only thing that could happen from this situation is a potential cheater seeing this and thinking he can do better and get away with it.

You can ask for peace all you want but I sure wouldn't try and look for it in this very community, especially not at this moment. And that's not even for just the cheating -- There's many accounts of people being upset with how you behaved or, for example, rudely responded to their PRs. To use that as an excuse of your own not to upload video -- I really don't know what you were thinking trying to play that off.

Again, I'm glad you admitted to it, but there's really no way to give a positive spin to this situation.

I think now is a better time for me to say my last words to the community as a whole. Everyone has the right to be angry, You can shit on me all you want. Just please don’t dox me fully. With that out of the way I should give the community a better explanation before I depart fully.

Why I did it: I simply couldn’t keep my pace up. Cutting a certain amount of af per week became more of a chore instead of enjoyment and satisfaction. After seeing others fly up the rankings I felt I had to do the same but better. Instead of focusing on just playing for fun, I just wanted to be better than others. But I couldn’t do it. Honestly this is a good experience for me personally. I have always been one to put pressure on themselves to do well, to the point where it became unhealthy. I couldn’t function in school after not having perfect test scores. It gave me anxiety and depression and made me feel like I wasn’t good enough. Now those are just words. Obviously that’s not true. But when you’re in that state of mind, you don’t think like that. You lose the ability to think rationally. I’ve been this way since the day I was born. After a decade and a half I’m still this way. That’s just how some people are. Now is a good opportunity for me to take a step back and move on. Since I was never able to do that in the past and now I’m being forced to.

Why did I act the way I did: Again this can all go back to my early childhood. I was the shy kid growing up. No friends, barely spoke a word. I was always nervous being around people and interacting with them. So I didn’t build any social skills early on. The most communication I have is with people online. Being online is quite different then in person. But at the same time there are many similarities. Honestly I’m still very bad with deep relationships. Being online made me feel more relaxed. I didn’t have the same fear that I did in person. So it was easier for me to act immature in a space where I felt more comfortable. After being part of the community for a while I became too comfortable. That was the problem. I stopped acting the same way online as I do in person. I started being more edgy etc. Everyone is different as well of course. I’m sure a few people don’t mind that kind of behavior, But most do. My tendency to be quick to jump to conclusions also wasn’t appealing. Another thing is my words, even right now I’m just typing what pops to mind. In 20 minutes I might think things here differently. Just the way I am. There are some people in the community that I very much love and want to be friends with still. I want to wrk on myself for them.

Now, I have no clue if any of this makes sense. I’m just writing what’s on my mind. I am obviously very embarrassed of what I’ve done, I know a lot of people are very disappointed. I apologize. I made a lot of friends over the past year, I should’ve known to treat them and the community better.

I too have Anxiety and probably Depression. I often feel depressed whether I have Depression or not I don't know. I was diagnosed with Depression in the past.

Eventhough I am told I am not depressed anymore, I often feel like I am.

Also 4 anyone reading this who might b thinking, "Stephen keeps bringing up personal things about himself that no one speaks about and says he doesn't want 2 speak about it." The reason I do this is, I am a lot more comfortable than most people saying I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and mental illness as well, without elaborating on how it affects me or the cause of these conditions. As long as I don't speak about my history or impact of my conditions specific 2 me, I am comfortable telling the world.

It's good 2 spread awareness:) I know what I am comfortable sharing and not comfortable sharing. I am much more comfortable telling the world these things because I've got NO shame. I am SUPER PROUD actually:)

Persons with mental illness and/or disability r STRONG 4 pushing on in life with such hardships!!!!!

Autism Spectrum Disorder is NOT a mental illness. Persons with Autism have uniquely wired brains and r disadvantaged in the world as it is with some big advantages over others. Autism is NOT a Intellectual Disability or physical disability.

Life might get better Logan, but it can get much worse if u give up!!!!

Keep going, I know what it's like 2 feel very anxious and depressed as well as feeling like things r meaningless. As well as feelings of anger and life isn't fair:(
