Hey Guys,

My name is Kiante and I do research in Game Artificial Intelligence. I want to train a computer to mimic expert behaviour in SNES Super Mario Kart, but I have a problem. I need expert behaviour and I have come to turns that this game is pretty hard. Learning how to properly do jump turns without fulling off the map and/or sliding into a wall for 5 laps straight it is pretty difficult for a novice like myself. Would anyone be willing to record themselves playing the game and share the recorded gameplay with me?

In order to record the game properly, you have to have a USB controller, because I have an emulator that only works with PC and not an actual SNES console.

from convo I had in Twitch chat then later in discord I think he had Lafungo helping out. I'm always available on standby if needed though (though obviously I'm not top tier level driving).

@KVD - I got connected with @Lafungo, we did the initial setup of software and etc but I haven't chatted with him after that. I do not mind setting other people up and getting the ball rolling in the event that he gets busy because of work or etc. My discord alias is phdresearcher#1080 if you want to IM. @KVD if you have time to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. I think this could be an interesting project for a researcher to work, for two reasons. The first is trying to simply mimic you guy's behavior and second trying to be better than you guys by learning from your behavior. The latter is hard than the former and I have no idea how to do it but the former is a good starting point.
