I got an original copy of SMK today, and in the instruction booklet, it says:

Some go cart racers have gone on to become world class Formula One drivers.

Question is, is this actually true? Have any SMK (or even other MK games) players gone on to drive F1? ;D

From what I've read, Sebastian Vettel said once he was "playing Mario Kart a lot" when he was a child. Since he was born in 1987, perhaps that could be either SMK or MK64.
