My GBA SP has been attempting to commit suicide for a while now. It's been refusing to accept my cartridge unless I force it too, like handling a prisoner at Guantanamo; and it freezes up because of random things. Last night, it was almost successful in it's self-harm attempts. When I turned on my GBA, I witnessed a sight and sound I had not heard in quite a long time. It was the daytime screen at the start!

In my Shock™ I quickly looked at the time trials menu..... to find the Extra Tracks were gone and all of my times reset.... except 4 ghosts. Apparently, trying to play GP makes my GBA attempt hara-kiri, so I may be limited to playing the first 16 tracks for a while. This'll make achieving my goal of Getting Top 10 By The End Of The Year And Getting POY™ quite a lot harder, especially since my current weakspot is the SNES 5laps. 1.3 AF in 16 tracks in maybe two months... no biggie.... :YuiShudder:

You were already having issues before this so deleting your memory and trying to unlock the extra tracks again is a waste of time. I used to have weird glitches but they weren't cartridge related. Especially if your data is getting erased, don't punish yourself trying to play on that only to have nice runs frozens and can't film replays.

Just order a new one on amazon, should arrive in like a week.
It's a bit of drive for me to drop one off myself! [smiley=lolk.gif]
