It's a book written to accompany the release of the SNES Mini and features background, development, game details, high level (speedrunning) techniques and legacy sections for the following games: Super Mario World, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda ALTTP, Super Mario Kart, Star Fox, Star Fox 2, Super Metroid, Super Punch-Out!!, Donkey Kong Country, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dream Course, Earthbound & Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It's amazingly detailed and beautifully illustrated. Hard cover and nice and thick paper pages. Everything about this thing is quality! Put simply, this book is a celebration of the SNES, nothing more, nothing less.

On top of everything else, I was interviewed to help with the SMK section (and apparently so was Sami)! :) That just goes to show how thoroughly the writers did their research for this project. I'm a bit blown away with it all to tell you the truth. A must have for every SNES aficionado.

Hah I pre-ordered this a few days ago after learning about it. I hoped it would arrive the same day as my mini snes, but alas it's not arriving until the 18th of October.

I had no idea you were interviewed for it (but I might've guessed Sami was lol), so I look forward to seeing those bits. I'm a bit annoyed they didn't approach me though as I could've given them high level techniques on how to lose many times in a row at the CDM.

Haha, you could have told them about that new corner you invented on the straight of MC1 one year, when you were piss drunk during the TT 1-tries. ;D

I'm actually curious as to who they interviewed for the Super Punch Out portion, as I know many of the people who are involved in the high ranks of the Punch Out series.

I'm super excited to purchase this in the future! I'm glad punch out is featured, it's definitely one of the games I excel at, much more so than SMK. It was really fun to play through it with Aaron at CDM!

As far as the forums go, it has been rather slow Nick, and I certainly haven't been active enough.

Clark may not even remember it, but he was completely wasted 1 CDM (moreso than in other years even ;)). I think it was the same CDM that he threw a rock at a random car passing by. Then during the TT 1-tries he just veered off on the middle of the long MC1 straight as if there was a corner there. Some of the funniest shit I've witnessed at a CDM. :P
