having not played Mario cart for 10+ years and my kid getting a snes classic I am playing it again. I have read the snes classic times done count. but any tips. my best time so far is 1.03.74 with a lap of 0.12.45. that was with DK

That's pretty good.

Indeed the save feature on the SNES Classic makes it easy to improve times just like on an emulator, which is not accepted on this site.
