Hello,

Emoh and GoomBB here again bringing back more discussion concerning the decision on #BBA.

Basically, the forum post on that is dead, SO it's time to take it to the next step.
To recap, we are trying to revive the awards system that was taken down due to the inactivity in the MKDD Player Page. Because of the recent surge in activity, we find it fitting to kickstart these awards back up. Starting with the POY, POQ, POM, POW awards from this year, then a future poll will decide who will receive the POY, POQ awards from previous years. However, to keep the spirit of the awards and not create unnecessary competition from the thoughts of "who deserves this award more" and whatnot, a separate poll option for getting rid of the point system has been added to the options.

ANYWAYS, the first step is deciding whether or not we kickstart the awards back up, so I believe that a poll regarding the decision should start now and end on the 5th of February, which gives us a few days to account for all the active members of the community.

It sounds like a fun idea. The point system should be left out however as I don't see the point ( [ch865]° [ch860][ch662] [ch865]°)

I'd say keep only POM, POQ & POY as POW does seem like a stretch.
Even though there is a surge in activity, there will be some weeks were only a handful of players will submit (for instance due to holidays)

I progress so slowly I know I'll never be involved in it. I don't even think it would create increased motivation for any player, the rankings, standards and people's mini rivalries are more than enough for that.

Fair point, maybe a wrong choice of words. I don't miss them so I would have still voted no.

To be honest yes is going to win. If the community want it then that is fine. This is just my personal opinion :P
