Well 2017 is just around the corner, so I thought I would start this thread. My 2017 goal is:

Enter the top 3. 22 feb
Enter the top 2. 1 march
World Champ. 5 march

Only one goal: play and get some overall 60hz records. I wanna get back into 60hz, as it's just a lot more fun. Realized that when I tried it after not having played in 60hz for ages :)

Well my 2016 goal was to turn on my GameCube, which i did, but I didn't play any MKDD TT. Therefore, my 2017 goal is to play some MKDD Time Trials.  :D

If I manage that, then I may even add the bonus goal of getting a PR, but that's a very long shot. I haven't got one since 2013. In fact, I don't think I've played MKDD TT since 2013.

i knew top 150 would come easy. top 100 is gonna be more of a push but we'll see [smiley=beer.gif]
and if i do get the CR it would be LC 3lap and not the flap. my plan is to get a better overall timesheet and then come back to LC and spend like a week on it to get the sub 1:16  [smiley=bath.gif]

Good luck with the overall CR. You are progressing well so you will probably get one at some point.

I have never mentioned any aims yet but I guess my aim is #15 as I am less than 1 AF away now, so I should at least try. I think anything beyond that is out of the question as it would require too much effort and determination which my younger self would have but I can not do that anymore. I am extremely happy with where I am now though. When I returned after 11 years away at #34 I did not believe that I could PR outside of BP flap and certainly not get anywhere near the top 20 again so I surprised myself quite a bit. I think #15 is as far as I can get in my opinion.  [smiley=beer.gif]

Didn't see this thread earlier, wish I did

Main goal this year was to get back into the game and beat my bad times and get top 600 back, then it became get top 500. Played enough and ended up getting Top 400, and felt like I understand the game better now. Wasn't initially planning on it, but I'll come back to play it again sometime in the future for sure.

BP top 15 (flap) is never happening.
WC is cancer to TT now.
- Changed 2nd Goal to 10.0000 ARR (Titan D) instead of 9.4995 ARR (Titan C)
- Changed 3rd goal to 24/32 Titan times.

Right now I am very close to Titan D overall (10.65xx ARR atm, Titan D is 10.4995 - 9.5000)
I see myself being top 100 in a few months.
Maybe next year will be better...   :-/

If I were to stick with my old goals then I'd have even more broken controllers at the end of the year.
