I just wanted to create this thread to thank Alex Penev for everything he does to keep this site running. The site had been a pretty big part of my life for a while now, and I have so many fun memories associated with it. :D This is a great community and Alex deserves some recognition for bringing people all across the world to compete in time trials with one another.

I totally agree with everything said. It's always amazed me how much effort and enthusiasm Alex puts in to the news for a game he last played 12 years ago. He really makes every one of us feel important no matter how bad we may be at the game.

The consistent weekly news updates are one of the major things that keep me interested in time trialing MKDD as opposed to MKW where updates take months and I lose interest fast. I also really like how, as Gav said, he makes everyone feel good about their times regardless of if it is top 100 or 500+. Thanks Alex for all of the work you have done for the MKDD community. I have only been on the Player's Page for 3 months but it is almost every week I go on and see something new and interesing put up by Alex. He puts a lot of effort into what he does and I am so appreciative of what he does. He inspires me to go out and do something every week. I played Double Dash for a while years ago but never competitively. When I came back to MKDD I decided to do my very best on it. Seeing Alex post the news every week is part of my routine at this point. I am newer ut that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what everyone does. Thank you Alex for being there for this site. I really can't thank you enough.
