Title: Why I think that rBC should be TAS'd with Daisy.
Post by ★rusoX on 04/06/16 at 09:18:22

Since Cole brought Funky back to live on rBC everybody had a straight idea of him being faster, even the TASers. Nobody ever tried or has released a video of him trying to TAS rBC with Daisy.
All I ask is for someone, that is good at it, to try. Even if it is one lap, then it is up to you if you want to finish it or not, because i understand how frustrating rBC can be.

Next, Im gona show why i think she has potential here from comparing my best lap 2 to Rocky's.

From begining of Lap 2 until Last ramp.

Rocky's TAS: 49.729 - 1.31.1xx = 49.729 - 91.1xx
= 41.371~

rusoX: 50.383 - 1.32.000 = 50.383 - 92.000
= 41.617~

Difference .256~ for Rocky

Rocky's Lap 2: 49.589

rusoX' Lap 2: 50.176

Things TAS could cut over me:

-The first bridge I had a small bounce on Lap 2.
-I dont soft-drift first corner.
-Fourth corner is bad compared to how it should be.
-Probably every corner could be tighter or the miniturbo could be faster.
-More optimized stairs/shortcut transition.
-Second bridge old strat is about .050 faster.
-I delay wheelies to avoid some small chains.
-An optimized spiral could be about .1 faster than mine is.

With all this in mind, I believe that some good TASer should be able to cut more than .3 up until last ramp.

NOTE: I cant really tell whats Rocky's timer at that point but I estimated it would be at 1.31.1 since it didnt even reach a quarter of a second at that point.

I chose to compare it up until last ramp because of the Low jumps differences between both runs.

Thank you for reading and I hope that someone will actually try it.

I don't know about TAS, but when I TT rBC I get better laps with Daisy. In no way am I a pro or good at that track, but I do get better PRs with Daisy.

You have to consider a bit more tho: Daisy will lose a lot on the low jumps due to her tricks being way higher. Also Rocky basically was faster by a bigger margin since the timer you made was when he got way further to the right as you did in your run, but I agree looking at your statement it looks like Daisy could have a chance, probably they are closer than everyone thought.
