Title: Re: Streaming not possible!! help please!! Post by StacyGold on 06/10/15 at 09:32:19 You mean you can't install the software of the capture card? I don't know the device you are using, but I don't use the software of my capture card (Easycap), I just grab the signal directly with OBS. Have you tried that? You may have to try both 32 and 64bit OBS, it depends on the capture card. |

Title: Re: Streaming not possible!! help please!! Post by StacyGold on 06/10/15 at 11:12:20 I have no experience with Xsplit, but I know from OBS that it can be confusing to grab the signal from a capture card. I couldn't just add a source and select the capture card, it had to be the correct type of source. And it's very possible that some capture cards are not directly compatible with a streaming software and require their own software. A typical method for those, if you don't want to use their own software, is to grab their signal with Amarec and then grab Amarec with OBS/Xsplit. But Amarec is an absolute mess of a program. You may want to check out SDAs guide for recording: https://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Recording |

Title: Re: Streaming not possible!! help please!! Post by KVD on 06/11/15 at 00:49:02 Reinstall the grabby drivers first I guess. 64 bit: http://www.terratec.net/media/filer_public/10620-64.exe 32 bit: http://www.terratec.net/media/filer_public/10620-32.exe Then the streaming program (OBS & Xsplit both), should be able to receive the signal once the grabby is selected in there. If not, press something like configure and see if you need to fiddle around with PAL/NTSC. Replugging the grabby sometimes also works to reinitialize it. It's not the most stable capture card in the world (understatement), right now I'd recommend a gv-usb2. Though for me the Grabby still sorta does the job. |

Hey Karel thanks for your fast reply.. to confirm here I already did any thing that's nessecerry to get the signal for the grabby! so yes I reinstalled it more then 10 times before on both bit rates 32 and 64 but there seems to be an bigg issue going on cause neither xsplit or OBS pops up to choose the terratect grabby capture card. I might gonna buy myself a new one so you recommend a gv-usb2 right!! hmmm let me seach see what I can find about it!!... |

Title: Re: Streaming not possible!! help please!! Post by KVD on 06/11/15 at 03:08:09 Have you tried to reinstall Xsplit / OBS? And have you tried hooking up the N64 directly to the grabby, so you can rule out any cable and/or splitter malfunctions? EDIT: You mean when you select video capture device the Grabby is not even in the list of devices? If that's the case, either the Grabby driver is not correctly installed (somehow), your streaming program install is corrupted or your grabby is not being picked up by the USB port that you are using. |
