As far as I know, 3-5 people have reached, the people I know of are:
VR Pwn
Rororo
Random Japanese guy

Not surprised if there's 2 more, but I doubt many more than that.

Because the rating system makes it easy to gain VR against weak opposition (it should be +1 for beating a room of 1000 players and -25 for 2nd, not +8 for winning or whatever it is), reaching 99,999 VR doesn't mean that much to me

It's a bit like saying 'I counted to a million the other day!' Well done I suppose..

In fact the new VR system after the update is almost a progress bar anyway, I went 9,000 -> 12,000 VR against similar level opposition and I'm not that great

I saw a japanese guy last week with 98.7k VR; he could've reached the max by now. I think I have a pic of his name on my phone, I was so amazed at his VR that I had to show people. Idk if I still have it though

Next kart game that comes out im dedicating my time to online play and I'll be the first to get 99999 VR
