A couple other people in the Skype chat followed suit. Here are their predictions: Andy: 1. Andy 2. Chris 3. Seb 4. Lafungo 5. Nosey 6. Stacy 7. Mick 8. Pierre 9. Ben 10. Flo Stacy: 1. Andy 2. Seb 3. Chris 4. Stacy 5. Mick 6. Pierre 7. Lafungo 8. Nosey 9. Alan 10. Flo Nosey: 1. Andy 2. Seb 3. Chris 4. Nosey 5. Lafungo 6. Stacy 7. Mick 8. Pierre 9. Alan 10. Ben The actual Top 10 at the end of 2014 was this: 1. Andy 2. Chris 3. Seb 4. Mick 5. Stacy 6. Pierre 7. (tie) Ben 7. (tie) Lafungo 9. Flo 10. (tie) Etch 10. (tie) Nosey So, what are your predictions for 2015? Feel free to extend them past the Top 10 if you want. |

Title: Re: Ranking predictions for the new year Post by Lafungo on 01/01/15 at 12:36:31 Here's my own prediction for 2015: 1. Andy 2. Chris 3. Seb 4. Lafungo 5. Mick 6. Stacy 7. Nosey 8. Pierre 9. Etch 10. Dan I think the Top 3 is pretty much fixed. Andy will stay active and has too much of a lead for Chris to do anything. Chris will improve his AF and will be in no man's land as Seb falls behind in his inactivity. I don't think anyone will be able to close the gap to Seb this year. I think I can make it to #4, especially since Mick, Stacy, and Pierre are barely active (if at all). Mick will stay ahead of Stacy without playing much, even though Stacy could pass him easily if Mick doesn't play, because Stacy will be distracted by his Combined ranking goals and will play other Mario Karts instead. Nosey will play for the first 4 months of the year and then forget what a ZZMT is. Etch will play just enough Non-SC to stay in the Top 10, but won't make the effort to bridge the gap to Pierre. Dan will play more, manage to get in the Top 10, and relapse into inactivity. Actually, I think the last 2-3 spots in the Top 10 are up for grabs, because Flo and Alan definitely have a shot at them, assuming they play (ZZMT). If people bother to play (more) this year, there should be some really interesting movement in the Top 10. |

Son, I am proud :') ALso, my own predictions for 2015: 1. Andy 2. Chris 3. Seb 4. Lafungo 5. Stacy 6. Mick 7. Michael 8. Robert 9. Pierre 10. Dan As Lafungo said, TOP3 won't change much, except Seb makes a super suprise return, which will deeeefinitely not happen. #4 will be Lafungo, he shows the all time activity, even though he should better write some news instead ::) I put Stacy at #5 because those are normally easy to gain combined points, and I expect him to do better here, he has the talent! #6 is Mick, as Lafungo said aswell, Mick is too inactive to have a big impact in the top spots, even though his YD was a really great WR last year! I think Mike on #7 is a good bet, he can make it if he puts some effort into it. Robert will probably get enough non-sc PRs to pass this 1 AF point gap, even though his mainbusiness is SC [smiley=engel017.gif] and Dan will probably pop into the TOP10, he just needs some advice from a fellow german karter ::)! |

Stacy 6. Mick 7. Alicia 8. Ben 9. Dan 10. Etch As much as I'd like to assert the contrary, change in the Top 3 seems completely unreasonable. I'm going to do the same thing I did in 2015 and claim I'll reach #4, although this time I'll put Stacy over Mick because even with minimal activity Stacy should be able to do it this year. I don't really see anything significant happening in the bottom of the Top 10 either: Dan doesn't seem motivated to close the 1.25 AF gap to Ben, and Etch probably won't play much Non-SC, but I think he'll do what it takes to get back in the Top 10 and stay there. Nosey and Alan fell off the face of the Earth in 2015, so I'm unfortunately not expecting anything from them this year. I'll throw in a few extra predictions for lower down the rankings: - Both Fabien and Banjo will reach Top 20, but neither will reach Top 15. - Glozboy will reach the big 7-point AF graveyard in the 30s, but won't make any substantial progress in crossing it. - TvK will stay ahead of Zwiebel in their eternal struggle for Worst Updater Ever. - Harvey won't be in the Top 30 at the end of the year. Don't ask me how it'll happen, but it will. |
