Does this happen to anybody else?

If you try to embed a YouTube video in a post by copy-pasting its URL and applying the 'media' tag to it, the video that you actually embed ends up being whichever video was most recently posted on the same thread, rather than the one you were trying to embed. I can correct this by manually changing 'https' to 'http' in the video's URL, but should I really have to do this? This has happened to me the past several times I have wanted to embed a song in the General board's music thread.

I always thought it was just mods who could do that... but after this topic I can think of atleast 5 non mods here who have done that lol... what's the media tag?

It isn't a big problem for me, most of the time I had http and barely had https links. It's just removing the s, that's all.

Not everyone wanting to embed a video would be aware of this...

You can also click on the icon that has the little red music note. Paste a YouTube URL, highlight it, then click on this Insert Media icon to apply the opening and closing media tags to it.

Simple solution:

REMOVE THE S FROM HTTPS IF YOUR VIDEO DISPLAYS THE WRONG ONE!

They'll notice it [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

And POOF! the 'e' is gone.
