If this is in the wrong place, feel free to direct me to where it belongs. I just bought this game this weekend, so I don't know much about this board.

Anyways, I just thought I'd drop by and introduce myself. My name is Kyle Begley, some of you may know me from over on the 64 side of MK, where I've been playing for a few years. I also have a timeset in MKDD, but we don't talk much about that...

So on to my noob question that could probably be looked up but i'm too lazy to do so. I just finished TTing all the courses that start unlocked, and have unlocked the special cup in GP, but can't TT them. How do you unlock these courses?

What CC did you unlock the special in? I'm sure you have to do 150 to TT it, I may be wrong.

You'll unlock the retro cups by getting 100 coins in the normal cups, while still finishing 1st (at least, if I remember correctly).

Welcome. I think you need to get first place in the first 4 cups in 150cc mode to unlock the Special Cup in TTs. You also need to replay the cups in 150cc and get 100 coins in each cup to unlock their corresponding extra cup - I think you need to also either get first, or get a "C" ranking or something, but really just get a bunch of coins and race half-decently and it shouldn't be a problem.

Ok thanks guys! I was playing on 50cc just to figure the courses out, but I guess I'll go and play 150c to unlock everything. Hopefully I'll have a full timeset to send it before the end of the month. Have a few times that are ok for just starting out, but I'll have to work on them.

befor you start tt make sure you´ve read the rules page...
We have rules for nearly every course^^ watching non-sc WR vids on youtube can show you the way which is allowed. [smiley=engel017.gif]

Thanks everyone! Right now I'm just focused on a complete timeset. Once I finish that, then I'll look to vids to see how I can improve my routes. I am using the rules page and the accompanying maps to figure out how to do these courses, so I'm pretty sure everything is within the rules.
