Title: Embedded Twitch thing Post by sully on 05/13/14 at 18:21:26 I'd prefer to have it be less obtrusive. It pushes the other content too far down the page. I'd prefer it to be adjacent to the MB logo (banner.png) or in the middle of the YABB header (between "you have x messages" and the date). |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Jonesy on 05/13/14 at 18:42:25 Better? |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Zarkov on 05/14/14 at 07:07:03 What is the point of the MB banner anyway? It just links to the MB home which there is a button for already. I suggest replacing the banner with the twitch thing. |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Yoshistar™ on 05/14/14 at 09:40:40 I like the banner, see it as an art :) |
|
Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by ALAKTORN on 05/14/14 at 10:03:52 the banner’s great, no way I’d prefer a 51×20 small button to a 396×85 one the “Good Evening ALAKTORN, you have 165 messages, and no new messages.” message can be made to go into 2 lines now anyway, so there is more horizontal space for the Twitch thing |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Etch on 05/14/14 at 15:00:40 Maybe it's just me but I don't want to see a live twitch stream bulletin at all. Perhaps this can be an option where displaying it is default? Also missing the forum date/time as well, boo! |
|
Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Shock on 05/14/14 at 20:05:10 I'm in the same boat as Etch. Is it possible to create a button to collapse/expand the Twitch box? |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by AlexPenev on 05/14/14 at 22:34:49 You can AdBlock it, just like you can adblock the banner image to make the top of the board narrow and small. |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by KartSeven on 05/21/14 at 10:14:25 AdBlock the Twitch banner doesn't put the clock again. :( Isn't is possible to have both ? |
|
Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Jonesy on 05/21/14 at 10:35:06 Do people really need the forum to tell them what time it is? |
|
Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by KartSeven on 06/09/14 at 06:15:47 Not really, but I can know when I had a look here for the last time. So I still ask for the comeback of the clock. :( |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by IsThatAGoodTime on 06/09/14 at 07:00:18 What if we do something like this: http://i.imgur.com/lX0Chrl.png Imagine a clock in the top right. |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by shadow on 06/09/14 at 08:58:25 How well will that scale with multiple streams? The grid doesn't look too bad. It would need to be changed for the 9th mariokart. :D |

Title: Re: Embedded Twitch thing Post by Mr.Nosey on 06/09/14 at 09:10:09 I like this layout. My first thought when I saw the mk8 box was that they're just getting much more squished now. About the twitch box thing, can it be modified in any way to be more efficient, like reducing name of games down from Mario Kart 8 to MK8 etc.? Although I can see why that might not be possible due to the format of title's of twitch streams displaying a name of a game from a set list. |

Well, it looks like you could fit at least 4, probably 5 lines in that box if you gave it a bit more height. 5C585A544846594445310 wrote:
It could be done for specific games, like all the Mario Karts. |
