I'd prefer to have it be less obtrusive. It pushes the other content too far down the page. I'd prefer it to be adjacent to the MB logo (banner.png) or in the middle of the YABB header (between "you have x messages" and the date).

What is the point of the MB banner anyway? It just links to the MB home which there is a button for already. I suggest replacing the banner with the twitch thing.

the banner’s great, no way I’d prefer a 51×20 small button to a 396×85 one

the “Good Evening ALAKTORN, you have 165 messages, and no new messages.” message can be made to go into 2 lines now anyway, so there is more horizontal space for the Twitch thing

Maybe it's just me but I don't want to see a live twitch stream bulletin at all.

Perhaps this can be an option where displaying it is default?

You can AdBlock it, just like you can adblock the banner image to make the top of the board narrow and small.

How well will that scale with multiple streams?
The grid doesn't look too bad. It would need to be changed for the 9th mariokart. :D

I like this layout.
My first thought when I saw the mk8 box was that they're just getting much more squished now.
About the twitch box thing, can it be modified in any way to be more efficient, like reducing name of games down from Mario Kart 8 to MK8 etc.? Although I can see why that might not be possible due to the format of title's of twitch streams displaying a name of a game from a set list.

Well, it looks like you could fit at least 4, probably 5 lines in that box if you gave it a bit more height.
