My MKW rank is definitely not correct. Or did I miss something? Is non-sc finally the main chart? Because it only fits my non-sc rank, in overall charts I'm not 42nd lol... what causes that?

Yes, since yesterday you best rank between SC and non-SC is taken into account for combined ranks.

I don't know how it works out for the points attribued (i.e. if it takes the score for your absolute AF or the score for your AF relative to the AF of the lowest ranked player).

Edit :

Actually your rank displayed for MKW is whichever gives you the best score for that game, not your best rank between the two charts.

If you look at Robert van Zanten's profile, he appears 36th in the SC chart and 17th in the non-SC charts. However the rank displayed on the combined charts is the former.

That is because the non-SC charts doesn't have as many players and so you'd get a lower score by being ranked... let's say 50th... in the non-SC charts than at the same rank in the SC charts.

I don't understand this combined chart stuff and I actually posted I could care less about it. Only thing I said was a terrible idea is putting Non-SC Chart as Main Chart on the mkw pp. I'm not the only one who believes this (so you shouldn't be singling me out) and I still haven't heard one shred of reasoning to combat my belief.

If you're on multiple sites, your name has to exactly match up or the program won't combine your scores. Your mk64 and smk names aren't the same.
