I tried to help this guy out in IRC, but the same thing happened to me...

From what I gather, toughstache (username = Frank) tried to log in, needed a password reset, but the link doesn't work. Anyone able to help? (I tried to get a password reset on my own account and didn't get a working link either, so not sure how to help him.)

I had this problem with joining the site and gave up on it for like a year before coming back and trying again lol. Did you two try copy and pasting the link into the address bar?

Password reset works fine for me.

I can always manually change his password, but then I'd need to tell him what I change it to.

Had the same issue. The site needs to fix it because it's driving away users. I would have joined the forum a month earlier if it wasn't for this issue.

same here. I think I originally found the site November 2008, but it took until March for me get on because I couldn't figure out that issue, forgot about the site, then came back and actually tried to get it fixed.

Same here with joining site.

I had to copy, paste, and fix the link. Many of the symbols ( : / ? = ) in the link were changed when pasted. Make sure the link you paste in the address bar looks exactly like the link in email.

im having the same problem. also tried copy-pasting the link so it looks exactly like in the email, but that didn't work either. it kinda sucks because i can only access my account on my old computer, but id like to be able to do it on my new one aswell =(

Lenny g would like a password reset. He can not log in. he says you are ignoring his requests.

The password-reset page should work now. Did he try that?

(Login -> Forgot password).

I don't know what you mean by "ignoring" -- he hasn't contacted me at all.
