Title: Re: Drifting Post by Chuck Foster on 03/13/11 at 01:20:23 Perhaps it's going to be MK3DS style. |

Pros will charge them fast but others can just hold them like MKW and get sparks slower but easier. That would seem pretty catch all to me. |

That would be great, but I don't think Nintendo is trying to please everyone. I think they're more looking out for the average players, since that is the biggest group of people with the most amount of cash. A lot of average players thought mkds was ruined by snaking, and I remember seeing it all over major gaming websites, so I'm pretty sure it caught Nintendo's attention. So now Nintendo seems to want all players to be closer in skill/speed, so that the average players still feel like they're in the race and not being "cheated". The sad thing is Nintendo would only need to make a better matchmaking system (where you only get matched up to people near your skill) to make everyone happy. Then they wouldn't have to dumb down the racing mechanics. |
|
Title: Re: Drifting Post by .Hahaae on 08/01/11 at 05:47:53 They tried pairing people up by skill in MKW with VR. IMO it doesn't work, because there's the people who can play beginners and get 9999 and then the 9999 people who race against the high-level players, so it was a bit broken. |
