If I have it early, get a WR. Otherwise, just do what I do and start at the bottom and slowly improve.

#1 AF (even if it's only for one day I don't care) and at least one 3lap WR.
Eventually a POY if I turn out to be somewhat decent at this game [smiley=ninja.gif]

I was thinking around the same lines, but I'd be really happy to hit a WR at some stage in the early days of the game, even if it's only for a short time.

I don't plan on buying the game as I've had trouble moderating my time on these games. However, I hope to enjoy the new forum and help out as much as I can. (I.E. actually working as an updater/news writer?)

Reminds me of my goal when I bought Mario Kart Wii. ;D

My goal for MK3DS is to get WRs in the early stages (more than one course, unlike me whoring CM in MKWii early stages) and if the game is good, continue playing it for a long while.
