Title: No MK3DS thread? Post by DoPe RiDe? on 09/28/10 at 05:46:29 I know there's not a board, but I thought there'd atleast be a thread in here about it... What do you guys think? will it suck or be okay? Some reckon it's gonna be a launch title, and that the 3DS will come in late november, but that isn't official yet... hopefully it's not rushed for launch. If it's anything like MK64 or MKDS I'm going to play the hell out of it. there's some screenshots of it around somewhere too. they look pretty average though. |

Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by thewebinator on 09/28/10 at 17:53:57 I hope it goes back to the snaking system, I hate the charge system in the MKW MTs |

Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by ALAKTORN on 09/28/10 at 17:57:54 I hope the 3DS is a lot sturdier than Lites if the MT system is the same as MKDS… |

Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by DarkMeta on 09/28/10 at 22:16:14 What if their were many new types of "karts" such as... lorries, snow bikes and things like that... :D (even if MKDS already has some of them like Waluigi's karts for example but anyway... ^^) |

Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by Sorozone on 09/28/10 at 22:36:32 Random 3DS news if anyone is interested. - February 26 release date in Japan, March for the US and Europe - 25000 Yen launch price for Japan, no price given for the US and Europe - Virtual Console for GB and GBA games, 3D is supported - Can connect to WiFi automatically in sleep mode and download/update data - Miis are included, user takes a picture of a face and a Mii is automatically created, which can later be edited - Launch colors are "aqua blue" and "cosmo black" - Tag mode will work right out of the box with no setup required (other than connecting to Wi-Fi, most likely) - Memory notebook - "records the steps you take and shows them there" http://www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/conference2010/3ds/lineupMovHigh.html <---Video In the middle of the video it shows about 5 seconds of Mario Kart. |

Post by Jazz on 10/03/10 at 09:01:30 The graphics on the 3ds actually remind me of the gamecube graphics from the pics i'm seing.. which is really impressive for a handheld nintendo console, also makes me want to buy it the more and more I look up on it ;D .. I mean just looking at this link makes me want to buy it : http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBUQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fds.ign.com%2Farticles%2F112%2F1124739p1.html&ei=ELSoTPjbK-qK4gbRgPmkDQ&usg=AFQjCNFL845iJdV1oETJIuw5-7ezVTlFiw many other useful links too, like this one http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CDQQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fe3.nintendo.com%2F3ds%2F&ei=F7aoTP-9NpLh4AaPrMCIDg&usg=AFQjCNHWnQM39Jl9NkqHfyakzgbYzs3QFA if i'm being honest, 3ds has all the games that I would love to play like mario kart, paper mario, legend of zelda, starfox 64... etc etc it's like the dream console that I hoped that would come out.. nd finally it's coming. Btw, on a link I went on, people said the release date could be from now to march 2011, which if you think about it isn't really a long wait, considering the features that it has. I also heard that it would be a price from £199-£350 in UK.. this is probably the only disadvantage of buying it, but i suppose it's fair for the price i guess :P I'll look up more on it soon probably :P Offtopic: also, I heard rumors about a new dreamcast coming out called dreamcast 2.. not sure though, I might make a thread. |

Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by thewebinator on 10/03/10 at 09:06:32 That sounds kinda bsish, why would they make a sequel to dreamcast, did Sega suddenly earn enough money to do that? |

Nope. In the 360° turn inside Peach's Castle, you can see clearly both characters charging an orange mt while turning all the way to the left. MKWii boosting style, guys. And before anyone asks, the game won't be released until at least autumn 2011 (it might not even be for this year since the game has no date release, but that's unlikely. October-November looks reasonable for me. |

So it's a new trailer video of the game showing us some more about it (although it's not gameplay, I still think it's worth to take a look at) link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6KRkGoeClo&feature=player_embedded Let me know guys what you think :D On my side, I think it's a bit of a gimmick, I only care about the mt system, it's hard to tell, the boost seems to last like on mkw (you can also release the mt on blue spike to gain a boost while the red prob gives you a bigger boost like on mkw) but the mt spikes design is similar to mkds. Let's hope we can snake but my hopes are down with the success of mkw. Let's just hope they won't ruin it more with bikes, roller blades, or whatever they could come up with. |
|
Title: Re: No MK3DS thread? Post by inviso87 on 01/09/11 at 22:29:00 ^ ...look at the very end of the last page, lol. It is MKW's boost system. The spiral up with Mario and Luigi confirms it.
