Someone give up some theme ideas.

I'm thinknig Dragon Ball Z or the Simpsons or South Park or something lol.

I want it to stick on this forum, the whole anonymous thing didn't really work and it was too annoying to log on and such.

I could think of themes, but either way once a new one starts, I"m in.

I seriously don't care what theme we do, it's been entirely too long in between games and the last one (and my first one) was a disaster for me and I want to redeem myself.

DBZ sounds fun.

I've never played a Mafia game before but I'm rather interested. Could anyone explain to me how they work?

I think that there's a thread in here somewhere that explains it....

basically there are two factions, the mafia and the town (and sometimes independents), and the goal of the mafia is to kill off all of the town and the goal of the town is to kill the mafia. Each day a meeting is held to determine to lynch someone or not and during the night the mafia converses on who to kill during the night-time.

That's a basic explanation, however for each of the separate players there are roles which have their own specific abilities. I think most of the roles are covered here (http://www.epicmafia.com/instruction/characters) with some slight differences. It makes more sense once you start playing.

We don't normally use that many, it was just to give you an example. You get the description of the role in your PM before the game begins.

Whoever's idea it was it would be an interesting prospect. Although I would think that the roles would be limited to people who weren't playing.

I'm curious to know what happened in the last game. I remember reading a bit of it and trying to figure out who was who from the outside, but I didnt see the end. Can someone post the link to the boards where it was held again? If not I'll trying digging through the old topics.
