Are you allowed to vote then remove your vote simply to see the # of votes? Curiosity isn't a bad thing now, is it? :P

Why can't you vote for the match you're in? I mean, voting in the match you're in doesn't mean you vote for yourself. That can just as easily be checked, no? It would only affect you negatively anyways...

If you vote and then remove your vote, I don't think it leaves a trace that you voted. So whoever is counting probably won't see it, so it doesn't make any difference.

But why does it matter to see how many people have voted? It's useless to know that 57 or 37 or 197 people have voted.

Also, it counts the number of votes submitted and not the number of voters. So if it says 50 votes there could be as little as 25 people that have voted.

The nice thing about this rule is in the event of a 1 point win/loss, matches won't be influenced by the decision to vote for oneself of not. It may turn out to be a non-issue, but it also may save headache later.
