Talks about the possibility of Wii's Virtual Console getting features once reserved for Wii-Exclusive games - Even mentions the possibility of an SMK leaderboard. Wouldn't that be something extraordinary?

I thought of putting it in general, but since it really only applies to SMK and maybe MK64, I figured it more appropriately rests here. What do you think of it?

In practice, its a great idea: the best times will be at the top, but they'll be trick time and thats without hackers and what not. I'll stick with sami to do my leaderboarding 8-)

This site is basically an online leaderboard, but better. Except there's faces and personalities behind many of the names. On this site each time represents years of discovery and hard work by the community and the individual player. On an online leaderboard it's just a number, which IMO is meaningless.

Yeh true, it would be great if they had some online playability thats easier to set up than zbattle and stuff, i suppose for the fun aspect. Otherwise dunno if it would work as well, as per the reasons you guys mentioned.
