how come my pics don't show up when i do the whole [img thing? I post the pic then after 5 min, it just has the x. I did the exactly the same thing for my tv pic

Some webhosts don't allow outside displays of images hosted on their servers. For example, freewebs, geocities, angelfire, etc. they all do not allow you to directly display images hosted on those servers like that and they block it. You'll just have to post the URL instead of the image directly.
