How can I make that an icon? Simply selecting it doesn't work ???

Don't icons have to end in a .ico extension? See if you can just rename it, or maybe use some drawing program that can save it as a .ico.

I don't use a quick launch bar so I can't tell you any more info.

That program converts jpg, gif bmp and other files to .ico
Marks Pic is png so you'll have to rihgt click and save as and save it as a bmp or jpg.

Downloaded image icon converter and that's converted it to a ico file, now works fine. Thanks!

That's what happened to me also, doesn't seem to appear correctly. Perhaps it's not meant to ???

EDIT: Ah, save target as works ok :)

just right-click and save the file to your PC and use it there... ico files aren't meant to be displayed in browsers... although FireFox seems to have no trouble displaying... haven't tried IE yet.

OK just tried loading the ico file in IE and it does indeed look weird. FireFox is a better browser though and is capable of doing a lot of things that IE isn't so that really isn't too suprising. This is just another reason why everyone should be using FireFox instead of IE... as if there weren't enough already (the ease of getting trojans and spyware because of IE's shell integration with windows, no built-in pop-up blocker, IE not being W3C friendly, etc.) but I digress.

You tell them Mark. A good administrator should know that any browser, like Mozillla, Firefox, etc., is better than IE. :) And by the way, the ico file works on Mozilla.
