Has anyone ever attempted to use this kart in Time Trials? For some odd reason I was compelled to use it and I ended up with 4 new PR's.

Peach beach, Waluigi stadium, Dry Dry and Dino Dizno Jungle, mostly i think its because green fire has the same speed and accel but is a lighter kart than the barrel train and most of the courses i got new prs on involved driving over dirt maybe? i have yet to test it on BC and RR however

mmm the barrel train is taked over the bullet blaster because it's a heavier kart, so beeing lighter is not really an advantage

true but the bullet blaster has some fucked ass steering, the green fire seems equally as good a turning as the train possibly better.

Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I've ever time trialed in a different cart than the barrel train (besides DKM). I'm not at home right now so I can't try it out, but did you really feel like it was the cart that caused the PR?

I gave it a shot, but found it slower, with a poor handling, but not a lot; so maybe your old PRs were just bad...
it still have the advantage to allow funier characters combinaisons

Your right vorsch now that i think of it, the courses i got new pr's were rather weak courses i never paid that much attention too, but who knows, I did do it on my first try of each course except dino dizno, but that is a strong course for me. I got close the first time and got it on my second. The again you're playing on 50hz everything seems slower to you :) kidding. I’m certainly not preaching about the green fire as if it were so much better and people should switch to it but the feel of it reminded me of the barrel train, I recommend at least giving it a try.

I'm with Nebout on this one. If you like green fire you really should try the turbo birdo....almost guaranteed to pr ;)
