This is one of my worst tracks. And I seem to be beating my head against the wall trying to beat 1:40 on it.

I still don't know the best place to shroom.

Also I can't find a strat that I feel really good about. I've seen vid's by Tanny and Cesar; and Tanny seems to get a lot of mt's, while Ces gets less but stretchs 'em out and just trys to corner really tight.

Maybe some of you guys that are better at this course can tell me how you do it.

Thanks Jon, you're probably right. I've tried that way b4, but not too seriously. And I'm just starting to be able to do more mt's on turns like the last one.

So I'll give it hell tonight then.

Yeah. I've noticed that with other courses. I'll play it for a while till I can't get it any lower (no matter how hard I throw the controler at the wall). Then about a week later I'll go back to it, and get a new pr with little difficulty.

But with some course's it's not so easy.

In regards to your fastest lap, is it better to use the shrooms both at the end along the narrow straight on the right or 1 at a time at different sections of the course? Just watched Dave's vid and he does the latter, the one I saw before (by Paul) chooses the first option. What's generally faster?

The fastest way for the flap is by using 2 mushrooms at the very end of the course.(across that straight dirt area) If you practice you will find that it is possible to mt after the first bend. I will be making videos soon, so you will be able to see my strat soon. If only I would stop putting off making those vids. ::)

For my 3-lap I still use the mushrooms in one lap. I like to use them on the second lap because there is always a truck coming on the second lap. This eliminates all of the car obstacle near the end for your second lap, which will help to improve your time.

That lorry u mentioned on Lap2 if u mean the one near the big hole near the finish line then you just go a very quick L mt inbetween it.

I seem to have a problem on this course and all the rest - I MT to wide and can't manoevre the controlls quick enough! Is there any solution to that?

Do a 0-0-2 or a 0-2-0 shroom strat and shroom on the narrow ledge to the right of the big hole near the finish.I usually get two first good laps then mess up on lap3 for the stupid yellow car where the pillars are.

How do you mean practice??? I struggled to get 1:48 on that course.

You're probably trying to boost too much Mikjam. Cornering tight is more important than boosting.

Also, take a look at the videos section on the site too get help with strataigies. But you don't have to get all the boosts that they get right now.

i am an average booster who gets cheesed off when I mess up (which is extremely frequently.) Is it true that there is a shortcut in Sherbet Land?

Define SC ;) Basically go around the course as normal and shroom after the tunnel. Turn left and whilst turning right at the next turn get on the hilly part and shroom across it. Take a look at the vids page for more info.

Oh, saw your times too Mik. In SL, it looks like you're cutting the corner after the tunnel already (like the staff ghost does). You can go over the next corner without shrooming, but it's not faster.

Ive never avoided the car Matt , i just go to the left until the 2nd section of pillars then i go to the right again but i still cant go as fast so i will have to practice that part.
