So lovely, you see delfino plaza from mario sunshine has it's own track... also very significant is the fact that I can see two people on 1 kart, maybe some kind of new multiplayer option???

I want to be the first one with a small cut (in my mind of course...) Cut threw the grass between the tree and the wall showed on the first pic ;D It will save you about 0.2!

HOLY SHIT! I can't wait, I mean this is the day I have been waiting for..... *COUNTS THE DAYS TO E3*, *runs out to modify my GameCube to play Japanese Imports so I can play it a month or two early*.

I told you those first pics were fake.... interesting point to note though, is that the speedometer is indeed in M/H and not K/H, i guess they "americanized" it, and look how fast they are going... 103 MPH!, talk about speed, in MK64 the cruising speed is 70 KM (roughly 50 MPH), that's twice as fast!!!

oh, and Larzy boy, it's just too bad Europe is always slow and will get the game like 2 months after Japan and the US.... unless you plan on importing from Japan like me ;D... better go get your GC modded to play imports, cuz i'm gonna find em all before it's even released in Europe. hehehe

also, IGN has confirmed that Mario Kart Double Dash will be "PLAYABLE" at E3 this year, it won't just be shown, it will indeed be playable.

and the peasants rejoice

it looks like MK: Double Dash is the official name.... in the fashion of CMG... "worst title ever"

From what I heard, you'll be able to control both caracters on the kart, it's not just a multiplayer option. You'll also be able to link 2 GCs together for an 8 multiplayer game.

I think it looks quite good. Might be a bit too childlish though. Don't forget to post a review of the game after coming back from E3 Mark ;)

guessing here (of course):

the playable partner in the back can be controlled by the driver or a second player, so as to have teams

also, special abilities will be available for the second character picked to ride in the back

weight distibution will be a factor versus special abilities and the damn computer karter will always catch up to you regardless (just hate auto-correction)

I won't import the Jap. version... If the US version will be released months before they release it here in europe (who's idea is this by the way...??) I will import the US version!

Interesting to know that the karts are each different, rather than an essentially standard go-kart design

Looks like fun but I really have to pick up my life, can't play video games much.....but I expect to keep continuous time updates up through like end of summer

You look at the track, you see Koopa far away who's in first. But then, right beside Mario: here's Koopa again!

Actually, that rule really doesn't apply to Moritz, if you check out the French MB he has about 20 posts, and all of them are him (predictably) bragging about his GP times in English... never mind he hasn't even bothered submitting his times to the French site, even though he's submitted his times to the Japanese site. I'm surprised Moritz hasn't submitted his times to everywhere posiible considering his innate need to brag incessantly. ::)
