Gold Star #10 for Pierre L'Hoëst

May 1, 2007, by Karel van Duijvenboden

First of all, my safe prediction regarding Pierre L’Hoëst of course came true; in fact it already came true a day after I wrote it! I’m talking about VL1 where he finished his activity (at least for now) in style, with the barrier breaker that he was aiming to get all along. His 50”90* 5-lap WR wasn’t even completely clean, it had a sideways wallhit, but it was definitely spectacular enough to earn him the promised gold star award! Besides, the wallhit didn’t even cost him that much and the whole race was, impressively, free of icecube hits (helped with CPU ghost for the last set of course). Chapeau Pierre. ;-)
