Gold Star #8 for Chris Clark
January 31, 2007, by Karel van Duijvenboden
Then a karter who persists into making people believe he is retired, but is in reality only fooling himself with that as he is PR-ing more than ever before! If you didn't pick up on who I was talking about you should really read the MB more. Oh well, I'll give the name away anyway: Chris Clark. SMK's very own hooligan bags this update's gold star award (I think it's the first time he gets the award, an award that he has in fact founded himself) with a streak of quality PR's! He wrote personal history as he improved on KB1 for the first time since sending in his times to the SMK Players' Site! I guess we can deduct from that bit of info that he prefers to avoid this course by all means necessary, but his new flap of 11"28 could potentially be the start of a new Beach era for Clark...yeah right....If that all wasn't crazy enough, he even beat his KB2 flap as well; it went to a low 13 chrono. Moreover at GV3 he went into the lower 15 half, continuing on the solitary Non NBT PR that he sent in last time. Clark's best new PR is probably his 10"61 at his beloved VL1 though. On a final note, I'll have to say he is also working on VL2. He's making good progress, but did not reach his goal of breaking the one minute barrier just yet. Oh and before I forget, one of the main reasons that Clark has won the gold star award this time...He is now the new Non NBT #3 of the UK as he passed Richard O'Neill! What a way to punish this quote from me, from the update of 22 December 2006: "at Chris' current PR-ing rate it will take him a decennium to reach #30 Richard O'Neill for the Non NBT UK #3 spot." Well it was more like one month, so I guess that means I'm pwned...
