Happy 10th Birthday Super Mario Kart Time Trial World Records and Players' Site!

10th Birthday for SMK Time Trials Site

10 years ago I uploaded some of the first pages for the SMK site... How time has flown by! We started off small and it has grown so much from manual updates to more functional databases that we are using today. I would never have expected to have a community so great, joining several countries around the world, including great meets and much more to look forward to for the future! Except for some holiday weeks years ago or rare occasions, I think I have managed to keep weekly updates all this time. But it has also been thanks to all of you for your input, ideas and support through the years; thank you to all.

Unfortunately I don't have a birthday cake here to celebrate, but we already did some good celebrations (early) at the CDE in August, and I'm sure you can all celebrate in your own ways on this day. So keep having fun, sending your PRs in and recruiting more players for the future and we will enjoy many many more years in our great community.

Best Wishes,

Sami Cetin
