PAL TT World Champion Pierre L'Hoest returned this week with a surprise World Record steal on Ghost Valley 2 PAL.

#3 Florent Lecoanet had a small PR on Donut Plains 1 with NBT and is defending his current rank.

#9 Guillaume Leviach and #10 Manuel Babjar continued their great battle this week, with Bowser Castle 1 being a main focus. Manuel is close to breaking the 1'29" barrier, while Leviach hit the targets he wanted including a few other cuts to take the lead this week.

#26 Ben Allen of Team UK has had another fantastic week, doing damage on every track he touched pretty much. His NBT skills haven't even peaked yet as he continues his way towards his impending goals. Papon is within range and more just ahead of that. In the end of the day, he felt no way... ITOC!

#31 Alvin van Asselt continued his VL1 fastlap work but struggled a little. He did manage to push it under 10"2x. Some more refining and he can pull out an even stronger lap.

#32 Gene Tagliabue, the Champion of Australia is having a little break at the moment, however he did present a pair of Rainbow Road PRs to go along last week and these have helped him to pass Olivier.

#41 James Tagliabue is also in the same boat as Gene but will hopefully return at some stage. He also drove a PR for Rainbow Road, a little faster than Gene's and sub 1'29" also.

#98 Steve Bayliss of Team UK has done it after long last and reached the Top 100 in PAL SMK Time Trials in the World. A strong set of PRs this week with some great efforts have done it. Some more on this pace could set him towards the Top 90, keep on karting!

#108 Samuel Gomez gains another rank this week from a former Swedish Champion from the 90s, with a pair of Bowser Castle 3 times.

NTSC Activity:

NTSC TT World Champion Karel van Duijvenboden hopped over to Bowser Castle 1 and returned the World Record back to himself with some consistent racing.

#7 Oliver Segarra Gonzalez continued his strong PR'ing on Donut Plains 3 and also hit a nice KB2 lap in the meantime to reach 7th place. Soul is not too far ahead so a further battle will commence.

#23 Christophe Paquin of France made a little return to NTSC this week with a pair of NBT PRs for Choco Island 1, a nice cut of average finish.

#110 Bryan Cochonour reaches the top 110 this week with 6 new PRs. He has driven good marks on Mario Circuit 1 in particular, where he subs the 12 second fastlap barrier with Non-NBT.

#175 Eric Tapani drove 14 PRs on various tracks and passed several karters again from USA, Canada and Japan. Some of his fastlaps are showing potential for larger cuts to come on their associated 5-lap times.

#190 Nick Fraher has also performed similarly to Eric, as both karters climb well. Eric is now within the Top 190 and showing solid Non-NBT techniques. Following some more tightness on corners and countersteering to keep to closest lines, he will shoot up the ladder towards the Top 100.

#109 Samuel Gomez was taken by surprise this week with the challenge from Bayliss, however he did not go without a fight and defends his rank for now from another challenger. His BC2 PRs are looking good to keep things moving well.

#14 Tyler Worley of USA has picked up on improving some more weaker tracks this week which is working well to his advantage. He has climbed a rank ahead of a Brazilian rival. Could he continue the pace to one day challenge Joe for the USA Time Trial Title?

#113 Bryan Cochonour made several more PR cuts, and is working on a few of the tougher tracks to find the best strategy. He is making a good pace to head towards the Top 100s.

#179 Kevin McAteer is really picking up the pace this week since joining the site over a week ago. So far he is smashing many of his times, climbing the ladder fast within the Top 180. We look forward to see the improvements to his rank over the next weeks.

#191 Eric Tapani is also making similar improvements and follows closely behind Kevin. He set some PRs on a few of the trickier Special cup courses and is improving his sub 1'02" MC1 PR along with others. Keep on Karting!
